Other ships in the fleet have been overhauled and given new facilities, while Celebrity also launched its 100-passenger Galapagos expedition ship, Celebrity Flora, and announced a new partnership with wellness guru Gwyneth Paltrow.

Day 6
Lanzarote, Canary Islands
Lanzarote, one of the Canary islands off the coast of West Africa administered by Spain, is known for its year-round warm weather, beaches and volcanic landscape. Timanfaya National Park’s rocky landscape was created by volcanic eruptions in the 1730s. Cueva de los Verdes has caverns formed by an underground river of lava. East-coast resort Puerto del Carmen is home to whitewashed villas, beaches and dive centers.
Day 7
Fuerteventura, Canary Islands
Fuerteventura, the second largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, sits in the Atlantic Ocean 100km off the north coast of Africa. It’s known primarily as a holiday destination due to its white-sand beaches and year-round warmth cooled by constant winds. The multitude of beaches that wrap around it are interrupted by cliffs and sheltered coves. It's popular for water sports, especially surfing, windsurfing and waterskiing.
Day 8
Las Palmas, Canary Islands
La Palma is one of Spain’s Canary Islands, off northwestern Africa. Its rugged, forested terrain is dotted with volcanoes like Teneguía and Cumbre Vieja. The island's capital, Santa Cruz de la Palma, is a port town with narrow cobbled streets and houses with wooden balconies. The Caldera de Taburiente National Park has a huge crater-shaped formation and is covered in pine forest and cut by waterfalls.
Day 9
At Sea
Relax and make the most of the myriad of facilities available on board the ship, from fantastic entertainment to delicious and diverse dining options.
Day 10
Casablanca, Morocco
Casablanca is a port city and commercial hub in western Morocco, fronting the Atlantic Ocean. The city's French colonial legacy is seen in its downtown Mauresque architecture, a blend of Moorish style and European art deco. Standing partly over the water, the enormous Hassan II Mosque, completed in 1993, has a 210m minaret topped with lasers directed toward Mecca.
Day 11
Tangier, Morocco
Tangier, a Moroccan port on the Strait of Gibraltar, has been a strategic gateway between Africa and Europe since Phoenician times. Its whitewashed hillside medina is home to the Dar el Makhzen, a palace of the sultans that's now a museum of Moroccan artifacts. The American Legation Museum, also in the medina, documents early diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Morocco in an 1821 Moorish-style former consulate.
Day 12
Seville (Cadiz), Spain
Cadiz stands on a peninsula jutting out into a bay and is almost entirely surrounded by water. The Phoencians founded Cadiz as a trading post in 1100 BC and it became a thriving Roman port. It sank into oblivion under the Moors but attained great prominence in the early 16th century as a launching point for the journey to the new world in America. Cadiz was also raided by Sir Francis Drake and managed to withstand a siege by Napoleon's army. Cadiz is situated just 99km away from Seville which is the epicentre of Moorish architecture and history. With UNESCO classing a complex of three buildings in Seville as a World Heritage Site - namely the Cathedral, Alcazar Palace, and Archive of the Indies - it's no wonder that cruisers flock to Seville from Cadiz.
