Cartagena is a modern port city on Colombia’s Caribbean coast. At its core is the walled Old Town, with 16th-century plazas, cobblestone streets and colorful colonial buildings. With a tropical climate, the city is a popular beach destination. Reachable by boat are the nearby shores of Isla de Barú and Islas del Rosario, known for their coral reefs and scuba diving.

Located in Limon province along the Caribbean coast, Puerto Limon is the provincial capital of Limon and lies some 160 km east of the city of San Jose. Visit the Brava Volcano and the Brauilo Carrillo National Park, the Tortuguero National Park or the Cahuita National Park. Puerto Limon has some unusual surprises such as the Parque Vargas that sits in the east end of town facing the Atlantic Ocean.
