Royal Caribbean introduces British Butler Institute-certified ‘Royal Genies’

Sea Class
Applicable suites: Family-Connected Junior Suite; Family Junior Suite; Junior Suite; Spa Junior Suite.
Guests will receive the following benefits:
- Upgraded Bathroom Amenities by Hermes, Ferragamo and L’OCCITANE
- Speciality Bottled Water
- Access to the suite-only restaurant Coastal Kitchen for dinner
- Luxury pillow top mattress
Sky Class
Applicable suites: AquaTheater Suite; Crown Loft Suite; Owner’s Suite; Royal Family Suite; Superior Grand Suite; Grand Suite.
Guests will receive the following benefits:
- Unlimited Voom high speed-internet
- Upgraded Bathroom Amenities by Hermes, Ferragamo and L’OCCITANE
- Luxury pillow top mattress
- Speciality in-suite dining
- Speciality bottled water
- A welcome amenity
Guests will also receive complimentary access to the Spa Thermal Room, the suite-only restaurant Coastal Kitchen, and the Suite Lounge.
This Class also includes the services of a Concierge who will deal with pre-cruise communication and will be able to make priority restaurant reservations and VIP theatre seating reservations as well as handling special requests. Guests will also gain access to signature activities in addition to the private Suite Sun Deck on-board.
Star Class
Applicable suites: Royal Loft Suite; Owner’s Loft Suite; Four Bedroom Family Suite; Grand Loft Suite; Sky Loft Suite; Two Bedroom AquaTheater Suite.
This is the top tier where guests will receive the following benefits:
- Unlimited Voom high speed-internet
- Upgraded Bathroom Amenities by Hermes, Ferragamo and L’OCCITANE
- Linens, towels and bath robes by Frette
- Duxiana DUX mattress
- Speciality bottled water
- Nespresso coffee machine
- In-suite hand-crafted cocktail service
- Personalized welcome gift
- Speciality in-suite dining
- A welcome amenity
The daily gratuities for these suite guests will be included and guests will receive a complimentary Ultimate Beverage Package, complimentary items in the in-room mini bar, complimentary access to in-suite movies, and complimentary dining at speciality restaurants.
Guests will also gain access to the Spa Thermal Room, fitness classes, the suite-only restaurant Coastal Kitchen, and the Suite Lounge.
This Class will include the services of a Concierge in addition to the services of a British Butler Institute-certified ‘Royal Genie’.
The Royal Genie butler service will act as a personal assistant to guests 24 hours a day, offering a bespoke, tailored service. They will be able to handle dining and beverage requests, will offer a shoe shine service and will take care of the laundry. The Royal Genie will be trained to prepare hand-crafted cocktails made in-suite and will be able to create and reserve customised shore excursions.
Royal Caribbean has said it intends to match the benefits and amenities that guests would expect to receive on a world-class luxury getaway. The Royal Suite Class will be available on sailings starting from May 2016 on-board Royal Caribbean’s Oasis and Quantum-class ships, including Anthem of the Seas, Quantum of the Seas, Ovation of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Oasis of the Seas, and Harmony of the Seas.
