The ship, Black Watch, was getting very tired and has since been retired. The service from all staff is exceptional and the food is generally good. However on this last cruise we had very bad weather and the Captain made a decision to cross the Bay of Biscay (on our return leg) when there was a cyclone forecast and we hit the edge of this. Everyone had a very bad night with some injuries, and yet we had to moor off the coast of Anglesey afterwards as we were a day early on our return, so it would have made sense to wait out the cyclone and then cross the Bay of Biscay.
