Sailed on 29th January. covid restrictions still in place pre cruise testing organised by P&O went smoothly and were on board and in our cabin within one hour. No issue with having cabin services once a day although heard others complain about not having evening turn down. We were most impressed by the choice of food in the olive grove and the waiting staff were very attentive. For breakfast and evening meal we mainly dined in the Pearl restaurant and had the same table allocated each time this meant by the end of the cruise we had a good rapport with the waiters. The booking app worked well for us. Wearing a mask when walking around the ship and on trips was no problem and everyone appeared to comply. Only downside of cruise was missing Cadiz for operational reasons two days in Lisbon instead. The Captains daily message at 6pm was informative and helpful as well as seeing him around the ship.during the day. Iona may be a big ship but due to the different venues there are plenty of quiet areas
