Azamara Quest, Mediterranean

The ship was fantastic, and passenger numbers were low, which enabled the crew to provide immaculate service. The food was good in the main restaurant and the self-service restaurant (staff put the food on your plate). The entertainment was low key, but we enjoyed the two guest evenings. The White Night was ruined by the strong winds on deck. The wines provided as included in our package were not very good, especially the white wines. We had a standard balcony room. This was good, apart from the bathroom, which was tiny. The bedroom stewards were brilliant. We did two Azamara tours. The first, to Pompeii from Amalfi, was fantastic, with a very knowledgeable guide. The second, a panoramic tour above Dubrovnik, was not worth the $99 each. Overall I would recommend Azamara for people who want a quiet comfortable cruise where you will be looked after in sumptuous surroundings.v
