On arrival in Venice we were told we had to meet the ship at a different port so we had an hour and a half's bus journey to get there which was not a great start to the holiday! The ship was nice and clean and the service was excellent, we enjoyed the meals and there was a variety of choices and a good choice of different bars and entertainment. The room was small but clean and there was a cabin assistant to clean your room and get you whatever you want. The first drop off was delayed and it wasn't announced when we did get there, The main entertainment in the theatre wasn't clearly explained and when we asked Reception what the act included they didn't know. The excursion we booked was cancelled so we had to spend twice as much on pretty much the same thing for a trip to the Acropolis, the tour lady went on for ages and we only had 15 minutes to look around on our own and when we came back the bus wasn't there so we had to wait around for 30 minutes at a gift shop, we only had 40 minutes in Athens which wasn't enough to do anything! I found it annoying that buses and boats cost us extra to get into the centre at the stop offs. Dismemberment was very annoying, we paid extra to get priority and were left waiting for 45 minutes and then got on the same bus as the other groups who hadn't paid E18 extra each to be priority! Overall it was a decent cruise but the organisation wasn't great!
