My wife and I set off from Newcastle (Port of North Shields) on an eight night cruise around the British Isles visiting Belfast, Anglesey, Portland and Dover. The itinerary was changed just prior to sailing and we were given £100 each on board spend as compensation.
There were some restrictions on board due to the Covid situation and tests were conducted pre cruise but we did not find these at all detracted from the overall enjoyment of our cruise.
The onboard service was excellent and we were treated extremely well throughout.
We found Marella superb value for money, so much so that we have booked a cruise and stay vacation with Marella in early September.
