Trying Princess for the first time which will probably be the last. Daily crew appreciation per person with no alternative, 18% service charge on top of already exorbitant prices, an onboard medallion APP that told me I wasn't even on the ship, a dine my way APP that kept telling me an error had occurred (When as the IT manager explained it should have said no bookings available). Additionally, the buffet food was cold (When it should be hot) and the selections were limited. As some other veteran passengers told us "Oh don't go to the buffet, it's terrible" which I would have done if the Dine My Way APP had worked. Even arrived at a main restaurant venue to be told you MUST book a table through the APP, and when I explained it didn't work, the receptionist ARGUED with me and took me to an "AT SEA" screen to show me how to book it, and guess what, IT DIDN'T work there either. She then agreed to provide a table as long as we shared with other guests (Not a problem). All in all, not a pleasant experience and put me off ever booking Princess again.
