A cruise with drinks interrupted!
A lovely cruise with a great crew providing wonderful service. Not serving alcohol in UK waters meant 2 days of no alcohol even for prepaid all inclusive. No alcohol on sailaway especially annoying as it ruined the ambience. The NCL excursions were extortionate so we did not use them. Some ports struggled to cope with the volume of passengers and NCL should ensure this is dealt with. For example a 2 hour line for cabs at Dunmore East would have been solved by a few shuttle buses. Overall a great cruise tainted by the high-handed attitude re no-alcohol periods when it had been paid for. Loved the platinum benefits as this was our 1st time sailing at platinum. There were a lot of tendering ports on this cruise which may not suit everyone and also a lack of sea days for some down time. Some ports are also a bit of a journey to the main towns. Overall we very much enjoyed our cruise.
