Azura, Mediterranean

Overall this was a good trip and Azura is a nice ship, though she is beginning to look a little tired and in need of a face lift. Most of the ports were interesting and worth visiting, although we felt that Taranto in Italy was somewhat disappointing, with little in the way of charm or interest and left us a bit underwhelmed.
The quality of the food was generally very good, although the buffet at lunchtime did vary a little.
The staff overall were excellent, polite, attentive and lovely. We did feel that the entertainment crew were less impressive, being most notable by their absence during the day and their tendency to sit together and whoop noisily when their colleagues were working. The entertainment director was a mystery, only appearing via announcements as a disembodied voice. I really couldn’t pick him out of a lineup, which is unusual, as generally speaking they are very visible.
