The ship was great and the cruise itself was most enjoyable.
Good points:
The staff were fabulous, always smiling and helpful. The ship was sparkling clean and not lacking in anything. Everything ran like clockwork; nothing was too much trouble and the service was seamless.
Not so good points:
Food was good but not hot, hence the 3 stars. Shore excursions were expensive and the equivalent at the port was much better value and more flexible. The cabin was small, but adequate. Embarkation was delayed by 6 hours due to bad weather and it took a fair few requests to be provided with shelter, drink and information.
I would definitely recommend MSC, especially to first-time cruisers. If you want a value-for-money fun time with lots of lovely people of all nationalities, this is the one for you!
