We booked a balcony cabin to take in the scenes on the fyords but because we travelled at night we saw nothing.
All none premium restaurants had a booking service by the p&o app which wasn't ideal because at the times we wanted to eat the queue's were into their 40s and 50s. The buffet restaurant had limited options.
We tried booking premium themed restaurants but they were fully booked on day one for the duration of the holiday.
We upgraded to the drinks package which we found was a waste of money, the service was poor and you had to hunt down a waiter to place your order, the spirit drink measures were short, a mere 20ml and you couldn't order a double so if having 3 or 4 drinks you had to find a waiter every time and wait at least 15 minutes to be served.
We spent 5 out of 7 days on board the ship which wasn't ideal because we wanted to see as much of the country that we hadn't visited before.
In summary beautiful ship with spotless rooms as should be on a new ship, good amenities. Poor service, drinks package poor value for money, average food,
Our first time cruising on p&o and on this experience the last.
