Zaandam, Caribbean

A good cruise over Christmas and New Year. Though it was full there were plenty of places to hide away and Zaandam still feels spacious. Even though it is getting on a bit, it's been well looked after and was a comfortable boat to be on.
The boat had great Christmas decorations and the Festive season was well celebrated.
Excellent service in both dining room and Lido and our cabin stewards also went out of their way to ensure we had a hassle-free trip. Food, for the most part was very good, though choice seems slightly less than before.
The variety of evening entertainment was top notch and we enjoyed nearly all the shows.
Only slight disappointment were the excursions which had not mentioned "shopping" included on occasions and also a trip to a garden in Barbados turned out to be a drink at a shop in a garden but with no time to visit what we'd come for!
Overall though, very content with this trip.
