The cruise director Jonny Ryley was excellent. He also sang and acted. I had met him before on the Thomson Spirit in 2011. I went on the Spirit with my sister. She thought he was the best cruise director we'd met.
The cruise lasted 32 nights and we sailed as far as Israel and Egypt.
There were ukulele lessons and a choir led by an opera singer. He was from Brazil and his name was Thiago Lemmos. The ukulele lessons were given by A Band on a Ship. The teachers were excellent and had a sense of humour. I took part in both groups and performed in a show on the last day. The lounge entertainers and show team were excellent too. There were two groups of classical musicians.
There were also actors. They were the games hosts!
I ate in the main restaurant. The Borough Market cafe was crowded and confusing.
The ship was clean and comfortable. It had a lovely sun deck.
The excursions were satisfactory, but some of the guides did not wait for passengers to join them on guided walks. I was left behind, lost and frightened in an old village on Cyprus. The guide had to go back to find me. She should have made sure I was with her when we left a basket making demonstration.
