Complete farce re covid testing on this upcoming cruise. According to Celebrity emails sent regarding this cruise, 15 days ago, a self administered covid test is fine, just bring photograph of test (I have the email), then all change, - 12 days ago - hurrah, no covid tests required (general email from CEO), sadly, then one week later (9th November) new email plus phone call from Celebrity UK, all passengers must have an observed test which passengers must pay for otherwise boarding denied. No explanation except that Florida to South America according to Celebrity, is now a "transatlantic" cruise. Another £80 down the proverbial. PS Regent cruise from Rio back to Miami one week later is not classified as a transatlantic cruise. Well, well!!
