Pride of America, North America

Due to Covid this was a long awaited trip to belatedly celebrate a milestone birthday back in 2020.
Key points to note:
Ship - I felt that the decor was a little dated in the public areas however the cabin, although compact, was well appointed.
Dining - very disappointed that my 1st choice of Specialty dining restaurant was closed on this sailing. Service generally was noticeably affected by an apparent lack of staff in both the main dining rooms and the buffet restaurant. Other than the Cadillac Diner which was thankfully 24 hour, food service in all areas seemed to cease very early compared to other cruises I've been on.
Entertainment - having reduced the main shows to one performance only at 7pm this meant that you had to choose whether to eat at a reasonable time or watch the show. Even pushing this time back by an hour and half would have allowed those that prefer not to eat at 6pm a chance to grab a meal beforehand.
Shore Excursions - Due to the destination of Hawaii the shore excursions were very enjoyable although I felt they were very expensive, again in comparison to cruises to other destinations.
Overall the cruise was good but could do with a slightly longer itinerary to enable a bit more down time.
