Regal Princess, Mediterranean

A beautiful ship, with many wonderful bars and food outlets.
Boarding and disembarkation were easy as not everyone got on and off at once due to it being 3, 7-day segments
The medallion app is excellent when it works.
We were in a mini suite, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the cabin was a great choice as our daughter travelled with us and used the sofa bed in the sitting area. The ship was extremely full, and staff struggled. We noticed issues in the bars and main restaurant, not a problem for us, however, there were many very rude passengers, which tended to ruin the experience. As it was a med cruise in August the weather was beautiful, sea days were best described as a zoo on deck! So many chair hoggers from very early morning, it was literally impossible to find a bed.
On to the positives excellent staff, lovely cabin, loved the different bars, retreat pool is beautiful (especially if you can find a bed!)
The Main Dining Room was excellent, we ate in both speciality restaurants - the Crown Grill and Sabatini's, we actually found the Main Dining Room to be better. The international cafe was excellent and super service. General entertainment was good although the theatre shows were quite disappointing. Crooners was fun and the atrium on formal night was buzzing with music and everyone dancing.
We would definitely book Princess again but not during school holidays.
The Regal Princess is a great choice for multi-generational families, there is something for everyone.
