Aurora, Mediterranean

We have cruised with P & O many times on different ship including Aurora. We were disappointed to find that P & O have made a lot of cutbacks since our last cruise. Cabins were "tired" and needed refurbishment, evening turn-out has been done away with, food menus in the Medina restaurant have been severely cut back on - not such a choice of dishes and also quality not as good. Whilst serving staff were very good we observed that because of shortages they were really stretched with what they were expected to do. A lot of the serving staff seemed to be in the process of being trained on-the-job by the more experience staff. Overall, our experience did not meet up with our expectations and we felt that we did not get value for money, especially bearing in mind that prices have increased substantially as a result of Covid. Also, The P & O app which we were required to use onboard for booking restaurant, theatre seats, and account checking did work properly.
