Never having voyaged on Cunard before despite having cruised over 20 times, I had high expectations, but I was disappointed. The ship was a tad dated and had seen better days. My cabin inside was nice, but I had no view outside because of a huge lifeboat. The food selection for dinner was very limited compared to all the choice one has on say Royal Caribbean. The service wasn't particularly good and the waiters got it wrong a few times. Fortunately, the weather was very good and the scenery was awesome. I was also disappointed that I was told there was a fee to use the inside Spa pool and therefore I didn't go, thankfully as the weather was good enough for the outside pools. The gala nights were themed and so limited the "dressing-up" part of my cruise. The afternoon tea in the Queen's room was quite something, though, and very enjoyable.

I love the formality of this cruise line, dressing for dinner etc. Only wish there was a more open style of dining which is only available to club balcony grade and above

The cruise was a 'follow the sun' cruise. We sailed to the Bay of Biscay and went up and down several times. Dinner each night was exemplary as was the entertainment. The lack of a buffet was the rea...
