Cruise Itinerary
Day 1
Flights from UK to Monte-Carlo
Nestled on the sun-kissed shores of Monaco lies Monte Carlo, a city steeped in glamour and allure. Its illustrious history as a playground for the wealthy elite spans centuries, drawing visitors with its opulent casinos and legendary Grand Prix. Beneath its azure skies, Monte Carlo basks in a Mediterranean climate, offering respite from the ordinary with its vibrant ambiance and stunning coastal vistas. For those seeking an authentic experience, Monte Carlo unveils a world of sophistication and refinement, where luxury blends seamlessly with tradition. As dusk falls, the cityscape comes alive with glittering lights, casting an enchanting spell over all who visit.

Day 3
Giardini Naxos
Welcome to Giardini Naxos, where ancient history meets modern charm along the sun-kissed shores of the Ionian Sea. This picturesque coastal town boasts a Mediterranean climate, perfect for leisurely exploration of its quaint streets and sandy beaches. Away from the typical tourist traps, Giardini Naxos offers an authentic taste of Sicilian life, where locals welcome visitors with open arms. Cruise lines often anchor here to provide travelers with a glimpse into the real Italy, from sampling fresh seafood at local trattorias to discovering the remnants of ancient Greek settlements dotting the coastline. Fun fact: Giardini Naxos is home to the first Greek colony in Sicily, founded in 734 BC.
Day 4
Overnight stay in Valletta
Gazing upon the majestic walls of Valetta Cruise Port, travelers are transported through the annals of maritime history. This strategic harbor, once a bastion of defense for the Knights of St. John, stands as a testament to Malta's enduring resilience. Blessed with a Mediterranean climate, Valetta offers serene azure skies and gentle sea breezes, providing the perfect backdrop for exploration. Away from the tourist throngs, cruisegoers can immerse themselves in authentic Maltese culture, from savoring local delicacies in family-run tavernas to discovering hidden gems in the city's labyrinthine streets. As dusk descends, the port becomes a beacon of twinkling lights, casting a magical spell over all who visit.
Day 5
Mgarr, Gozo
A port not often visited by cruise ships, being more accustomed to welcoming fishing boats and private yachts. Malta’s smaller sister-isle has a lot of charm to offer. Villages such as Mgarr all boast tall, elaborately carved churches, the result of a combination of fine-grained, easily carved stone, time, and stonemasons whose skill is matched only by their religious devotion. The city of Victoria was so named to honor the British queen’s Diamond jubilee.
Day 6
At Sea
Day 7
Ajaccio, Corsica
Ajaccio, cradled by the cerulean Mediterranean, boasts a vibrant legacy as the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. Its sun-kissed shores and temperate climate make it a haven for those seeking an authentic Mediterranean experience. Away from crowded tourist hubs, Ajaccio invites travelers to savor the essence of France with its charming cobblestone streets and bustling markets, where local artisans showcase Corsican craftsmanship. Beyond its historical allure, Ajaccio captivates visitors with its culinary delights, from succulent seafood to aromatic cheeses. As dusk falls, the city's promenades come alive with the melodic strains of Corsican polyphonic singing, a testament to the island's rich cultural tapestry.
Day 8
Saint-Tropez
In the annals of maritime lore, St Tropez stands as a testament to timeless elegance. Once a humble fishing village, its cobblestone streets now echo with the footsteps of the glamorous and the adventurous alike. Set against the backdrop of the azure Mediterranean, this enclave boasts a Mediterranean climate, inviting sun-kissed days and balmy nights. Beyond the glitz of its famed beaches lies an authentic charm, where local markets overflow with Provencal delights and vineyards offer a taste of the region's renowned wines. Uncover hidden treasures in its winding alleyways, where every corner reveals a piece of France's vibrant tapestry.
Day 9
Palamós
One of the best ways to arrive in Catalonia is by sea, especially via the Costa Brava. This coastline, also known as the Rugged or Wild Coast, stretches from Blanes to the French border. Its name aptly refers to the steep cliff of ancient twisted rocks, which runs its entire length and is bounded inland by the Catalan mountain ranges. The intensity of the coast’s colour, the ruggedness of the rocks and the scent of the plants all combine to add to its attraction. The history of this region is long and varied. Traces can be found of the advanced culture of the Iberians, Greeks, Romans, Visigoths and Arabs. With Wilfred I and the independence of Catalan countries, the Catalan dynasty was born. Later, in 1479, Catalonia became a part of unified Spain following the marriage of Isabel, Queen of Castile, and Fernando, King of Aragon. The port of Palamos, some 36 miles northeast of Barcelona, has been in existence for nearly 700 years thanks to its location on one of the deepest natural bays in the western Mediterranean. The town itself is the southernmost of a series of resorts popular with sun worshippers. For the most part, Palamos has managed to retain some of the charm of a fishing village. The port also serves as a gateway to such inland locations as Girona, the capital of the province. Art lovers may want to visit Figueras, famous for its bizarre Teatre-Museu Dali, the foremost of a series of sites associated with the eccentric surrealist artist, Salvador Dali. If you choose to stay in Palamos, you can enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of the town or spend some time at a nearby beach. The town has a long seagoing tradition and busy harbour. The fish auction, prompted by the arrival of the fishing boats, is a spectacle worth seeing. The Fishing Museum illustrates the history and the life of the families who live off the sea.</p>
Day 10
Barcelona, Flights to UK
Nestled along the bustling waterfront of Barcelona lies the iconic World Trade Center, a hub of commerce and culture with a storied past. Against the backdrop of the Mediterranean, this architectural gem stands as a testament to Catalonia's maritime legacy. Blessed with a Mediterranean climate, the region offers warm summers and mild winters, providing an idyllic setting for leisurely exploration. Here, cruisegoers can escape the tourist crowds and immerse themselves in the authentic rhythms of Catalan life. From vibrant markets to quaint cafes, the World Trade Center Barcelona serves as a gateway to the genuine essence of this captivating region.
