The city was rebuilt after the 1931 earthquake and you will find everywhere - the city's symbol of the Maori maiden statue, t called he Pania of the Reef.

Christchurch, known for its English heritage, is located on the east coast of New Zealand’s South Island. Flat-bottomed punts glide on the Avon River, which meanders through the city centre. On its banks are cycling paths, the green expanse of Hagley Park and Christchurch Botanic Gardens. In 2010 and 2011, earthquakes destroyed many of the historic centre's stone-built buildings.

Known as the “Edinburgh of New Zealand†Dunedin is a Kiwi city where Scottish heritage can be found everywhere, you’ll find the statue of Robert Burns in the Octagon as well as New Zealand’s only scotch distillery and kilt shop. The city boasts a wealth of distinguished architecture, including Dunedin train station with its elaborate Victorian facade, extravagant tile floors and etched glass work.
