The fabled Inside Passage is one of the most scenic sea-lanes in the world, and one of the few where deep-draft vessels can sail close to steep mountain walls. The scenery is unbelievable, with forests in a hundred shades of green, tumbling turquoise glaciers, and evocative towns loaded with history, culture and adventure. With most of Southeast Alaska accessible only by boat or plane, the Inside Passage is a lifeline to the outside world.

Juneau, Alaska
Juneau is the capital of Alaska perched on a hillside where the historical downtown buildings give it a somewhat frontier feel. 4000ft mountains create a dramatic backdrop to the city, beyond which lies the Juneau Icefield from which 30 glaciers flow, the most famous being the Mendenhall Glacier
Day 5
Skagway, Alaska
Some of the aspiring Klondike gold rushers who made it to Skagway took a look at the 500-mile journey that still lay ahead of them and decided a change of profession was in order. So many of them set up shops as provisioners that Skagway was the largest city in Alaska by the end of the 19th century. Booms fade and dreams move on, but the glory days still reverberate through the town. Take a ride on the Take a trip on the White Pass & Yukon Railway or ride up the Klondike Highway which will take you to places where you can roll up your sleeves and do some prospecting of your own.

Glacier Bay (scenic cruising), Alaska
Glacier Bay has more actively calving tidewater glaciers than anyplace else in the world. Enjoy scenic cruising and see a UNESCO World Heritage Site that protects a unique ecosystem of plants and animals living in concert with an ever-changing glacial landscape.
Day 7
Ketchikan, Alaska
Known as the Salmon capital of the world and Alaska’s "First City," Ketchikan offers a wide variety of things to do. Visit the Potlatch Totem Park, home to one of the most elaborate collections of wood carvings in the World.
Day 8
Cruise the Inside passage, Alaska
Have your binoculars and camera ready as you enjoy further scenic cruising en route back to Vancouver.
Day 9 to 10
Vancouver, Canada
Disembark ship for a further two night hotel stay. Visit one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, Vancouver. Explore the world-famous food markets, stroll through Stanley Park or just relax and breathe in the fusion of Canadian culture. Take your breath away and feel your pulse rising on the Capilano Suspension Bridge and even take a day trip up to Whistler or pristine mountain views.

Jasper, Canada
Arrive into Jasper, disembark train. Jasper, an alpine town in Canada’s Alberta province, is the commercial centre of Jasper National Park. Amid the snow-capped Canadian Rockies, the park has glacier-fed lakes, forests and rivers. The Jasper SkyTram climbs to the summit of Whistlers Mountain, with views of downtown. The Jasper Yellowhead Museum and Archives presents exhibits on the fur trade, railway and early exploration of the park.
