Titan unveils exclusive new complimentary cruise excursions for 2016

Titan Travel has launched the second edition of its 2016 river cruise brochure in partnership with river cruise operator Uniworld, revealing a selection of new excursions.

Known as the ‘Connoisseur Collection’ and ‘Monarch Collection’, these excursions and events are being offered to Uniworld passengers at no extra cost on a limited number of departures, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy exclusive experiences on selected sailings.

The Monarch Collection is available on selected European Jewels and Enchanting Danube sailings, offering exclusive insider access to Europe’s rich aristocratic heritage. This includes a visit to Artstetten Castle, Austria, where Princess Anita von Hohenberg, great-granddaughter of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, will host guests in her royal home; a behind-the-scenes views of Vienna’s Spanish Riding School, home to the famous Lipizzaner stallions; and a special on-board piano concert and dinner.

The Monarch Collection is available on ‘European Jewels’ sailings departing on 5 and 19 June, 17 and 31 July, and 14 August 2016. Prices start from £3,799 per person for a 14-night all-inclusive cruise aboard S.S. Maria Theresa or River Empress. The Collection is also available on ‘Enchanting Danube’ sailings departing on 12 June, 10 and 17 July, and 7 and 14 August 2016. Prices start from £1,699 per person for a seven-night all-inclusive cruise aboard the River Beatrice.

The Connoisseur Collection is available on selected Paris and Normandy, Bordeaux Vineyards and Châteaux, and Burgundy and Provence sailings. This includes gastronomic-themed treats such as a visit to the famous La Couronne restaurant; a food and wine pairing meal at Renaissance Château de Roquetaillade, neighbour to Châteaux de Cazeneuve; and the opportunity to search for a ‘black diamond’ with the owner of a truffle farm.

The Connoisseur Collection is available on ‘Paris and Normandy’ sailings departing on 19 June, 17 and 24 July, and 7 and 14 August 2016. Prices start from £2,049 per person for a seven-night all-inclusive cruise aboard the River Baroness. It is also available on ‘Bordeaux Vineyards and Châteaux’ sailings departing on 26 June, 24 and 31 July, and 14 and 21 August 2016. Prices start from £1,499 per person for a seven-night all-inclusive cruise on the River Royale. Lastly it is available on the ‘Burgundy and Provence’ sailings departing on 5 and 26 June, and 10, 17 and 24 July 2016. Prices start from £1,749 per person for a seven-night all-inclusive cruise on the S.S. Catherine.

Titan Travel is currently offering savings of up to £2,000 per person on bookings made before 31 December 2015.
