Princess Passengers Choose Best Hawaii Tour Experiences

Cruise Line Honors Outstanding Tour Operators with First Annual C.R.U.I.S.E. Awards in the Region

For the first time, Princess Cruises has presented its top tour operators in the Hawaiian Islands with the company’s annual C.R.U.I.S.E. service awards. These awards, which honor passenger choices for best tours of the season, expand Princess’ customer service recognition program — which has previously proven successful in Alaska and the Caribbean — to tour companies throughout the island ports where Princess ships call.

The awards recognize that local tour operators are an important part of passengers’ experience in Hawaii and the overall impression of their Princess vacation in the islands. Winners are chosen based on the number of positive comments received from passengers. Winners include tour companies from Princess’ line-up of more than 105 shore excursion options throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Recipients receive their awards at ceremonies held aboard the line’s ships.

“We’ve been presenting these Tour of the Season awards in Alaska and the Caribbean for several years now, and it has proven to be a wonderful way to recognize our best tour operators and to gauge how passengers react to our Adventures Ashore options,” said Bruce Krumrine, Princess’ vice president of shore operations for Europe and Exotics. “Our local tour operators really represent their destinations in our passengers’ eyes, and they are so important to ensuring that Princess’ high service levels continue even off the ship — so we’re delighted to now applaud our top Hawaii-based tours.”
