Cuba Cruise by Celestyal Cruises has announced a new all-inclusive cruise program featuring an unlimited beverage package and shore excursions that showcase the real Cuba.
Travelling aboard the cosy 1,200-passenger Celestyal Crystal on a seven-day voyage, travellers will experience the best of Cuba with a two-day stay in Havana and calls to four other ports including Cienfuegos, Maria La Gorda, Santiago de Cuba and Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Guests will have plenty of time to explore Havana, Cuba’s vibrant capital. Maria La Gorda is known for its impeccable beach front and underwater marine life. Cienfuegos is home to the 18th-century fortress, Castillo de Jagua, and historic Santiago de Cuba was the capital of the Spanish colony of Cuba from 1522 until 1589.
A selection of shore excursions at each port are available to passengers of all ages and tastes, from cultural walking tours to snorkelling and hiking. Guests embarking from Havana can experience the following shore excursions as part of the all-inclusive price of the cruise:
- Havana City Tour
- Cabo de San Antonio (Maria la Gorda)
- Cienfuegos City Tour
- Greenwood Great House and Historic Falmouth (Montego Bay)
- Panoramic Santiago
Pythagoras Nagos, Celestyal Cruises’ Vice President of Sales, said “The Celestyal Cruises family welcomes a new era of Cuba Cruise this year, our third season cruising to Cuba, with the launch of our brand new all-inclusive program. Cuba Cruise is the best and most economical way to experience Cuba’s historical highlights, white-sand beaches, infectious music and vibrant pulse of the entire island and its wonderful people, all provided to our passengers with a single, seamless itinerary. We are proud to offer an authentic Cuba travel experience to our guests for the third straight year as we continue to improve our product, which we believe is the unchallenged value-for-money cruise to the best of Cuba.”
Prices start from €483 (approximately £340) per person based on two sharing an inside cabin on a cruise-only basis.
Cuba is garnering a lot of interest from the cruise lines lately. Earlier this month Carnival was granted approval to operate a series of voyages from the US to Cuba as part of its fathom venture. This news came just days after MSC Cruises announced it was base MSC Opera in Havana for a series of voyages this winter.
