Why choose Marella Cruises

'Marella’ means ‘shining sea’ in Celtic and indeed guests can sail all over the world, from Mediterranean beaches to time-stamped Asian temples. There's the option to fly from 24 regional UK airports, or set sail from the UK. The growing fleet covers everything from family-friendly to adults-only ships.

Plus, unlike many cruise lines, Marella Cruises include tipping and service charges in our prices, so you don’t have to worry about paying extra. They like to keep things nice and flexible, too. Book a Cruise & Stay holiday, for instance – and your cruise package will include a hotel stay.

A whopping 90 percent of Marella customers said the service was very good or excellent – and were impressed by how staff recognised them on a return visit.

Great cruise to Iceland and Scotland, the processes on board were clear and all passengers endeared to them. The reduced capacity made things easier and was a welcome return to cruising. The testing w...

There are plenty of entertainment and activity options onboard Marella Cruises. You can be watching feather-plumed dancers one evening, and singing along to West End musicals or classic pop hits the next.

Marella also welcomes UK stand-up comedians to the stage plus there are live bands, cabaret acts, acoustic musicians and even silent discos. Or perhaps try your luck in the casino in a number of different games.

As for during the day, ships with sports decks lay on table tennis and basketball tournaments, and you can stretch and bend your way through a morning fitness class.

Marella also pepper the day with quizzes and game shows, cookery demos by the head chefs themselves, and talks by experts in their field.

You can sign up to dance classes and cocktail-making workshops, learn the art of wine tasting and even the secret to getting the perfect folds for towel swans and elephants.
