The former Crystal River Cruises' vessel has relaunched under Riverside Luxury Cruises

Named after the renowned French composer Claude Debussy, this 106-guest ship is the latest boutique- style vessel to be added to Riverside Luxury Cruisesʼ fleet.

Having originally launched in 2018 as part of Crystal Cruisesʼ portfolio, Riverside Debussy has 53 staterooms (cabins), each of which has a butler and 24-hour room service. A range of itineraries take in the Rhine’s shoreline, countryside and city highlights, such as Cologneʼs imposing twin-spired cathedral.

1. Itineraries
Five to seven-night itineraries sail between March and November, visiting the Netherlands during peak tulip season, the romantic Rhine gorge with its castle ruins, and the beautiful Flemish city of Ghent in Belgium.

2. Dining
Take your pick from four dining venues, which offer everything from freshly baked bread to gourmet tasting menus, plus barbecues on the upper deck. Bistro is the place to go for a relaxed buffet, while the Waterside Restaurant offers fine dining à la carte.

3. Upper deck
The upper deck bar and grill provides a stylish hangout from which to enjoy the North Rhine’s bucolic backdrops. Enjoy delicious summer bites such as grilled scampi alongside a chilled glass of local Riesling or Champagne as the sun sets over the horizon.

4. Service
As well as offering two crew members for every four guests, Riverside Debussy provides personal butler service. You can also book a table at the restaurant for dinner, order round-the- clock room service or schedule a massage, all via WhatsApp.

5. Accommodation
All of Riverside Debussy’s staterooms are above the lower deck, so you can open the windows to feel a breeze. Its staterooms range from the 17sqm Melody Suite to the 70sqm Owner Suite, with the latter sleeping up to four guests.

6. Wellness
After a day exploring, book into the spa for a facial, peel or rejuvenating massage. An indoor pool and workout area with top-of-the-line Technogym equipment, Latex resistance Therabands and weights are also on hand to keep you ship-shape.
