Regent Seven Seas Cruises prepares to launch newest ship
Launching this month, Seven Seas Grandeur™ epitomises a heritage of perfection, with a remarkable inaugural season and spectacular onboard experience
When a new ship joins ’The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet™’, it’s bound to turn some heads.
Seven Seas Grandeur will become Regent Seven Seas Cruises' sixth ship when she heads out to sea with her first guests this month.
Combining the luxury line’s celebrated legacy and a ‘heritage of perfection’ with eye-catching modernisations for a thoroughly contemporary feel, this elegant ship offers classy, traditional cruising with all the comforts of a modern five-star boutique hotel.
The ship, which launches this month, will sail with up to 746 guests and a dedicated crew of 548. All 373 of Seven Seas Grandeur’s suites feature private balconies and lavish amenities.
Blessed by a good egg
Continuing with the company’s tradition of godmothers blessing new ships, Seven Seas Grandeur will be blessed by Sarah Fabergé – great-granddaughter of the eminent jeweller Peter Carl Faberge, known for his iconic decorated eggs.
In fact, beyond blessing the new ship in a glitzy gala event in Miami next month, Sarah will host a special ‘Faberge Spotlight Voyage’ in July 2024, during which guests will have the opportunity to engage in small-group masterclass workshops, tours, demonstrations and enrichment programming themed around these world-famous jewelled eggs.
The 10-night special sailing departs from Rome in July 1, 2024, with visits scheduled in Italy, Malta, Spain and France, before ending in Monte Carlo – Europe’s playground of the rich and famous.
All-inclusive luxury
Step onboard Seven Seas Grandeur for the full all-inclusive treatment – everything has been considered. And we mean everything.
Flights and transfers are included – including business class flights for bookings in Penthouse Suites or higher categories.
You’ll also be able to avail of pre and post land programmes on selected voyages, and unlimited shore excursions on every sailing.
During your cruise, you’ll enjoy the ship’s open bar, which includes fine wines and spirits and dine wherever you like, with speciality restaurants included in the cruise fare.
On board you’ll be treated to complimentary access to unlimited Wi-Fi, plus all of your laundry is fully taken care of.
And, to cap it all off, the gratuities for the Seven Seas Grandeur’s fabulously hard-working crew are pre-paid, so that’s another consideration taken care of before you even arrive.
A sample of the inaugural season
Seven Seas Grandeur sets out on her first cruise from Trieste, heading west across the Mediterranean towards Barcelona. From Barcelona she embarks on her first transatlantic crossing on November 25, 2023. Arriving in Miami on December 14, 2023, Seven Seas Grandeur sets south to the Caribbean for seven nights.
If the Panama Canal intrigues you, Seven Seas Grandeur’s inaugural season continues with two Panama Canal transits between Miami and Los Angeles – the westbound journey also featuring the new ship’s first Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations, which promise to be a memorable occasion.
Later in her inaugural season, Seven Seas Grandeur makes her first call in New York, at the end of a 16-night journey from Miami, departing on March 25, 2024. A springtime transatlantic crossing returns the new ship to Europe, with a mix of one and two week cruises around the Mediterranean’s sun-kissed coastline.
Combining an appealing spread of most-popular and boutique ports in some of the world’s cruising hotspots, Seven Seas Grandeur’s first year at sea is an inspiring continuation of the legacy built by Regent Seven Seas Cruises, over three decades of sailing.
For discerning travellers, who yearn to get out there and explore, with all the comforts of the finer things in life included on board, and true authenticity featured ashore, the newest addition to the world’s most luxurious fleet is ready to answer your wishes.
