The line, famous for its focus on destinations and culinary excellence, has announced the itinerary for this 180-day adventure aboard Vista.

Sailing from Miami on 6 January 2027, the voyage takes guests to over 100 ports in 46 countries and across six continents.

The itinerary is a chance to visit over 150 UNESCO World Heritage sites, from iconic landmarks to hidden gems.

An extraordinary journey

The ancient city of Petra, in Jordan, is one of many fabulous places to discover on this cruise

The voyage will take guests from the Americas and across to Asia, Oceania, the Middle East, Africa and finally Europe.

Guests will experience the Panama Canal, explore North America’s Pacific coast from Mexico to California, and visit Hawaii and stunning islands in the South Pacific, including Tahiti, Fiji and Bora Bora.

After sailing up the west coast of Australia, from Sydney to Darwin, and following stops in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam, the ship will head to China.

There, Vista will call in Hong Kong and Shanghai, before heading to South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines and Brunei.

Vista then sails to the Indian Ocean, stopping in Sri Lanka, the Maldives and India. The Middle East comes next where the voyage will take guests to Dubai, Oman and Saudi Arabia, before travelling north to Egypt.

After passing through the Suez Canal, guests will begin the Mediterranean leg of the journey, calling in Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Malta, Monaco and Spain.

As the end of the journey approaches, guests will reach the Atlantic in Gibraltar before sailing up the coasts of Portugal and France and finally disembarking in Southampton.

Guests can explore each port of call and destination with a wide range of excursions.

The itinerary includes curated small-group shore excursions, focusing on topics such as food, wine, art, history or architecture.

These excursions provide guests with immersive experiences, whether it’s visiting Hakone National Park and taking in views of Mount Fuji in Japan, visiting the ancient city of Petra in Jordan or enjoying a tour of Porto’s Port wine cellars in Portugal.

With a range of options in each port, there is something to please every guest at every stage of the journey. All excursions for every port are listed on the Oceania Cruises website.

With only 1,200 guests on board, Vista has a relaxed, intimate feel. The spacious staterooms – among the largest at sea – are the ideal retreat after busy days exploring ashore.

As with all ships in the Oceania fleet, dining is a highlight. Eleven venues offer everything from gourmet classics at the Polo Grill Steakhouse to wellness-inspired dishes at Aquamar Kitchen.

Other options include Italian restaurant Toscana, pan-Asian eatery Red Ginger and the elegant Jacques for fine French dining.

The Culinary Center offers hands-on cookery classes for guests keen to develop their kitchen skills.
